Frequently Asked Questions : for current clients
What happens after scheduling the initial
interview?
The invoice for the session is available for payment once the
appointment is confirmed. You can pay ahead of the session or
wait for us to run the credit card on file on the morning of the
appointment.
If you are scheduling to meet with Dr. Ralph for a virtual
session, you'll receive the Google Meet link once payment is
processed. The Google Meet link will be sent to you in a message
under the "Mail" tab in the client portal after payment is
processed.
What documents should I send for Dr. Ralph to
review?
Prior to the interview, it would be helpful to review any
previous psychological evaluations, educational testing,
school-administered standardized testing, and report cards /
transcripts. You can attach those files to a message in the
"Mail" section of this client portal.
If your files are too large to be attached, please let us know
and we'll send you a secure Dropbox link.
How can I prepare for the interview?
The interview gives Dr. Ralph the opportunity to learn more about
you / your child, so she can determine the next best steps. It
may be helpful to jot down some of your main concerns, such as
different situations that are causing stress at home / school /
work, before you have your session with Dr. Ralph.
If you are meeting with Dr. Ralph for a virtual session, please
ensure adequate privacy during the interview by choosing a fully
enclosed space in the home. If the appointment includes a meeting
with your child, Dr. Ralph will conduct an interview with only
your child and then meet with the parent(s) alone. This will
allow each of you to speak freely about any areas of concern.
